Ethos Marine Phytoplankton
The Power Packed Nutritional Solution for the 21st Century
An incredible breakthrough in human
nutrition has astonished medical experts:
"When you give
the body everything it needs to build healthy new cells
then you get well."
Where does
Ethos Marine Phytoplankton come from?
Ethos Marine
Phytoplankton begins its life as live cultures, and then it is
reduced down to a paste form, which is further freeze-dried to completely
dehydrate it so that there's absolutely no moisture remaining in it
whatsoever. It is then in its new form of a highly concentrated
'Super Food' as a dry and completely stable powder. The quality
and integrity of all of the nutrients in the algae remain uncompromised as
there is no heat or chemicals used in this very special refining
process. Compared
to most other foods, only a relatively small quantity of
phytoplankton is required in order to provide a significant amount
of broad-spectrum nutrients which are essential for a truly healthy
and balanced diet.
For over three billion years phytoplankton has supported virtually
all living creatures in the ocean. It contains a unique combination
of life-sustaining nutrients including; Omega 3 essential fatty
acids (EPA and DHA), protein, chlorophyll, amino acids, vitamins,
minerals and essential trace elements. It makes up one quarter of
all vegetation (both land and sea) and, according to NASA, it provides up to 90% of the
oxygen in the air that we
breathe. The latest scientific research also indicates that it is
the most important food source on Planet Earth.
So
how do we grow Ethos marine phytoplankton? Not in the Ocean as you may
initially think, but on dry land using closed Photo-Bioreactors, PBRs, (pictured
here). These culture systems replicate the natural
growing conditions found in the wild, but with the added benefit
that we can restrict the exchange of gases, water and contaminants
between the culture and the outside environment. Photo-Bioreactors
have several advantages over open pond systems for the cultivation
of micro-algae:
-
Higher
biomass concentrations due to shorter light paths
-
Greatly
reduced contamination
-
Much better
control of physico-chemical culture parameters
For some
applications these advantages justify the increased cost of such
systems compared to open ponds. Open ponds do not provide conditions
necessary for high density algal biomass production because of the
variation in light intensity and temperature throughout the seasons
of the year. Chen (1996) states that enclosed PBRs have the
following advantages over open pond production;
-
Better
control of algal culture
-
Large
surface-to-volume ratio
-
Better
control of gas transfer
-
Reduction in
evaporation of growth medium
The
answer was so simple it was staring us in the face all the time!
Have you ever wondered why people who are perfectly healthy at birth
go on to suffer critical illnesses or disease, long before they
reach the end of their normal natural life span? Medical Doctors now
believe inflammation is directly implicated in many of the modern
ailments that are causing millions of people pain, disability and
premature death.
Inflammation is thought to be caused by constant attack from free
radicals and toxins, together with a chemical imbalance in the body.
These imbalances (or deficiencies) create physical stress that can
lead to damage of the brain, the nervous system, the cardiovascular
system, muscle tissue, joints and other vital body organs. The
average Western diet contains far too much hydrogenated fat, refined
carbohydrates and sugar, refined salt, artificial preservatives and
white flour. All these 'foods' are totally alien to the human body.
For example, Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease were quite rare
conditions until the turn of the last century. Table salt is
considered to be a toxic and dangerous cocktail of chemicals that
food manufacturers include in almost all of their processed food.
Many health care professionals claim that this total disregard for
human health verges on criminal negligence.
We suggest that your body is now crying out for the right nutrients,
in sufficient quantities, so that homeostasis (balance) may again be
maintained. Perhaps some of the complex elements you were born with
are missing from your normal diet.
